Well the Pink Peg Slax mystery track has been identified by none other than the bands drummer, Abner Cavanagh!

He emailed me to say...

The mystery track you are searching for from 22nd September's podcast is 'Cajun Feast' by Pink Peg Slax with the chorus 'et les voila'!!!

Taken from their first album 'Belting Outa Tuna' it was featured on Keith Floyd's cookery programme.

The copy you've got sounds to me like it was one from a studio or live John Peel session the band did around 1984.

Hope this helps.

My recording was from an old JP tape and I guess it was from a session. Thanks again for getting in touch Abner!
