We start the ball rolling this time with Peaches' excellent cover of Gay Bar, move swifly on to Teriyakis, a previous incarnation of half of the Harvey Girls, before travelling back in time for some vintage Wire. Theres other new(ish) stuff from Lake Holiday and from Snoozer (the latter being completely infectious and from an EP that I now have on order). Actually at the time of writing I have have stuff on mail order from Snoozer, The Harvey Girls and from the Teenbeat label - I wonder which parcel will arrive first? I've just realised that most of the newer bands featured on Cold Citrus are from the US. I'll try and redress the balance with something from the UK next time.
